Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
First, before I say anything else, let me make something perfectly clear, "The United States of America Is Not A Christian Nation". It is perhaps one of the most wicked nations on this planet. Yes, there are other nations that worship other gods, but what makes the US of A wicked is that it pretends to love God with their mouths, but their actions tell a very different story. I love this country, lived in different countries and there is no place like America. But make no mistake, we are going to be judged and the wicked will be thrown into Hell.
Since the decision of Roe v. Wade in 1973, we have had 8 Presidents (Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush & Obama). All professed to be a Christian, but 40 years and 54 million babies murdered later, abortion is still legal.
Out of 533 Senators & Congressmen, 299 claim affiliation with a Christian denomination, and yet same sex marriage is being viewed to be just as legitimate as God's ordained marriage.
Why is it that a 15 year old girl, who is too young to get a drivers license, can't buy alcohol or cigarettes, not allowed in R rated movies w/o someone 18 or older & need parental permission to take tylenol at school, can walk into a store and purchase off the shelf the Plan B pill.
We send our kids to schools, whose only purpose is through peer pressure, to them for their views. If you join the band, you have to play secular music, if you join the school choir, you have to sing secular songs. School dances and proms, all to make our children feel out of place, so that they must choose to be in or out.
Whose to blame? We are to blame. I know you probably didn't vote for this administration, the Senator, the Congressman or you may disaprove of their anti-christian policies, but Christians are the majority religion in this country. So what's wrong.
If there were any Israelites that agreed with the report of Joshua and Caleb, they didn't come forth, therefore they suffered the fate of the others. If there were Jews or disciples in the court when Pilate asked who to let go, Jesus or Barabbas, they didn't force their way to the front to plead for his release. And when asked what should be done with Him, the overwhelming chant was "Crucify Him". History is repeating itself. Wolves in sheep clothing, claiming to be godly, praising God with their lips, have turned their backs on our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ, watching Him being crucified all over again.
Luk 22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
When confronted, Peter being afraid, denied Jesus. How many times through our silence, have we denied Him.
