Biblical Policy: Abortion-In Defense of the Defenseless

"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations’" (Jeremiah 1:4-5).
Disclaimer: This policy is a reminder to Christians, who have sworn allegiance to God the Father by accepting His Son Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Saviour. And by Christian I mean those who know and believe that the Holy Bible is God's absolute truth and His final authority concerning the lives of those who profess to be His. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and made a true conversion according to the word spoken in Rom_12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God", it is not too late. God’s grace and his mercy, is there to give you time to restore your relationship with Him. While I do not expect a non-believer to adhere to the standards set forth in God's Holy Bible, you are always welcome to read His Word, Recognize your Sins, Repent of those Sins and Restore your relationship with God.
It never ceases to amaze me how Christians easily allow the moral values of this world to convince us to compromise the Word of God. All it takes is constant pulling on our emotional heartstrings to get us to feel guilty about what we believe in. It should be no surprise to us, when we are persecuted for standing for God’s word. Did not Jesus tell us in John 15:18-23  “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  (19)  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  (20)  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  (21)  But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.  (22)  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.  (23)  He that hateth me hateth my Father also.” When the world calls us radical, intolerant and extremist for expressing the biblical view on abortion, they are really saying these things about our Holy God. And when we compromise and back down, we are essentially agreeing with them.
A true believing Christian knows that only God has the power to create life and He alone has the authority to take it. Job said “Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job_1:21) So how many innocent lives, formed in the womb, did not get the opportunity to fulfill God’s purpose in their lives. Let’s look at some statistics:
54 ,559,615 total abortions since 1973
1.2 million abortions per year
3,288 abortions per day
137 abortions per hour
9 abortions every 4 minutes
1 abortion every 26 seconds
Just think, by the time you finish reading this entire article, a minimum of 9 babies will have been murdered. The 54,559,615 lives murdered since 1973 would rank them 24th on the world’s population list, between Italy and South Africa:
23   Italy                59,464,644
24   Abortions      54 ,559,615
25   South Africa  50,586,757
That statistic alone, should bring chills down our spine.
